Thomas Zampieri

Thomas ZampieriAttorney Thomas Zampieri worked as a federal investigator for 15 years before starting his mediation practice. Specifically, he investigated federal contractors for civil rights violations, auditing and evaluating federal contractors’ application of Title VII and attendant statutes and regulations in their employment practices. Before his time in government, he worked in accounting and in various practices of law. During his time in accounting, he was part of the tax department and co-authored a manual on the tax attributes of athletes and entertainers. His early legal career saw practice in family, construction litigation, bankruptcy, foreclosure, and estate planning, along with exposure to anti-trust and RICO litigations.

He holds a bachelor’s in economics from Hobart College, a Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University, and a Master of Laws in taxation from Villanova University. He is licensed to practice law and civil circuit mediation in Florida.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Mr. Zampieri has lived in Miami since 1999. Throughout his time in Miami he has volunteered as a lacrosse coach, for boys and girls, from youth through high school in his free time. He has worked with the Miami Stone Crabs, Belen Jesuit Prep, Lourdes Academy, and Gulliver Prep. When not practicing, or at a practice, he enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Thomas Zampieri

Born in New Jersey, Thomas Zampieri grew up a multi-sport athlete and attended the prestigious Hobart College in Geneva, NY. His career concluded with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics as he followed his wife to Miami and attended St. Thomas University to begin his legal education.

During his tenure at St. Thomas University, he became a research assistant for Professor Mark Wolff, participating in a complex law review article regarding tax treaty overrides. After graduating a semester early with a J.D., Thomas returned to the Northeast to conclude his legal education at Villanova University with a master of law in taxation.

One year later, Thomas returned to Miami and began working at Morrison Brown Argiz & Farra in their tax department, where he co-authored a manual on the tax attributes of athletes and entertainers. Inspired by his colleagues, Thomas embarked on a new opportunity and opened the doors of Zampieri & Associates in 2008.

Thomas has over 20 years of experience in mediation and general law practice. He has been a federal investigator for 15 years and has worked in many fields of law, both in private practice and other law firms.
